"Perfect Iberians, unbeatable bread and Iberian grilled meats and hard to forget. to that adds: very close to the 722 exit of the A-66, easy parking, if you take the children to the lake there is a playground and the best: the service, friendly, cheerful and professional! know what they do. garlic price and spurity!"

"Monesterio was about half way on our journey from the coast to Salamanca and wondered at first if anything was open in this sleepy provincial town. There’s a square with fountain on the right at the far end with parking. Not all cafes are open at this time of year but this was one of two in the far corner which were open. Most seating is on the terrace outside and it was pleasant sitting there soaking up the balmy winter sun. The cheerful chap (owner? who served us quickly took our drinks order and I decided to give the Sopa de Picadillo a try have to say this thin soup was most enjoyable with pieces of string spaghetti/egg/ham, topped with croutons and just enough to keep me going for the remainder of journey. Toilets are in the courtyard through door at far end of bar (clean but door locking arrangement a bit iffy . No English spoken but not a problem as my pidgeon spanish seemed to work and we had a bit of a laugh about things! Inside, the small bar area was crammed with cheerful locals."

"I've already been served without a good, attentive and willing to help. I wanted to look at cushions for a sofa and has advised me terribly and offered for other occasions, and a mattress of quality soper. I've been delighted. the store has variety of products of the bed and at good price and quality of the box of brands very well known white donkey manterol sicne red .... highly recommended"
