"We were staying at The lazy pug for days also in Shipston on Stour and this place was recommended to us as we love Thai food.It's a lovely thatched pub on a housing estate.We hadn't even realised it was there till we were told...as we hadn't walked round that area before.We were pleasantly surprised on getting there.It's a typical old pub,lovely inside.We sat in the dining room.They also have outdoor seating at the front and back.The menu is huge,lots to choose from.The food aswell as the service is great.We had crispy parcels and hot and sour soup for starters followed by Singapore noodles,phed pad and prawn crackers.The best Thai food we've ever had.This place I would definitely recommend if your in the area.A hidden little gem.We will be visiting in the future."

"Six stars for this jewel Thai food in a pub. We enjoyed so much that we visited twice - a 32 tour on the canal! The best meal we enjoyed on the Statford on Avon. Channel and there are several good pubs along the canal. This was worth the walk to a beautiful interesting village."

"We had a table of 8 for Christmas Eve dinner...first of all...the table is generous in size and set with very nice linens and exquisite glassware....the wine list is extensive...the dinner was delicious...some of us had the traditional turkey...it was enough turkey that some had extra to take home!!! The desert was tasty...I had the pumpkin..we had four at our table who were first time guests, and we have asked them how they enjoyed it...all were very very pleased with the meal, the price, the service and the atmosphere.....thank you for a lovely Christmas Eve..."

"Definitely one to avoid. Pretty pictures on the website, but the reality brings you down to earth with a bump. Tired worn out rooms, broken air con, followed by broken promises. Tables left uncleared which gave it a messy feel. On the positive side, the location is excellent, the grounds are beautiful, and only more night before we can leave. Rooms: 2 Service: 2 Location: 5"
