"This is a brand new restaurant in Long Branch, opened only a few months ago. I won't comment on their decor because I can tell they're still trying to find themselves. The hostess who is also the waitress is really great, she's polite and very personable, she answered the phone promptly when I called to make a reservation (no need for reservations BTW) and even thanked me for calling.The only reason I gave this new business only 3 stars is because they do not have any vegetarian dishes, even the dishes that "look" vegetarian on their menu, have meat or fish sauce. When I ordered a tofu dish, I asked them to make sure it's totally vegetarian, it came back with floating chunks of pork.I will keep asking for at least one dedicated veggie option and will update my review next time I dine there."

"As we would say in the UK not everybody's cup of tea. This is not a conventional modern hotel. It is an old building with a fun quirky artist interior. For my daughter and I it was perfect. She had a super cool Crashpad room and I had the Music Room. Everything was well thought through. Great attention to detail. The adjoining cafe was so friendly for breakfast. Perfect for someone wanting an informal base to explore Toronto."

"Makimono serves up some pretty good Sushi dishes. First let's get it out there that service was superb and quick. The endeme was however cold and needed more salt. As for the main sushi dishes they were good but did lack flavour in some of...them, textures and temperature were good."
