"My first hot pot experience in denver very well. of the 3 diners one was an Oregon transplant and very experienced in hot pot, the next had never tried, and how for me this was my fourth time. the location is perfectly typical, you will find in the regular hot pots worn away, in shopping strips, with narrow parking possibilities. no problem. the table burners are very efficient with temperature controllers to keep the broth I like to crash a bit to bring a more robust taste. the mushroom broth was tasty enough, but not overcome. the other 2 tried spicy, and found the medium exactly right, but both thought they would order mushroom broth on a second visit. the mixed plates are huge. to try a bit of everything, we have ordered the vegetarian tablet as well as bark and pigs. the mushrooms were so good, the brisket tender, and even the sponge tofu was delicious after being in pot. our waiter could no longer have been present to keep the glasses full, the asking answered. we will return without doubt!"

"First, we ate upstairs, in a booth at the tea room. It was a Sunday so not too busy when we arrived for our 6 pm reservation. The ambiance was incredible! We loved the booth, quiet enough to enjoy a family birthday celebration. Service was friendly, efficient and helpful when we had food questions. For what you pay, the food is ok servings are too small for the shared plates and only a couple items were really good the Mongolian fried rice and pork dumplings we also ordered the egg rolls too basic, mushroom fried rice too many mushrooms and only about 1/2 cup of rice, and a few other forgettable entrees. I think you are paying for location and ambiance so if that works for you try it!"

"I'm so disappointed. I go here at least once a month because I absolutely LOVE their lo mein and egg rolls. We have also been ordering it at work for our month end lunches which is typically over $200+ worth of food. Today, we did just that, ordered food for our employees for end of month and today, it was awful! They forgot a side of rice and our egg rolls (right there, that's over $20 worth of food we did not get). We called and were told we could come back for our missing items but they are not close, we take the drive because we have always liked it, and the parking is awful so we decided to just forget about the missing items.The lo mein was super overcooked and had absolutely no spice and barely any sauce. We ordered 4 lo meins, ALL were like that.I'm posting this review in hopes that if they have a new cook or something, that they can try to fix the problems. I have never had an issue here and I'm willing to give it one more shot when I'm craving the lo mein again, but if it tastes like this, I will not go back. I'm also not sure we will be placing anymore large orders there since items were missing.Today was a major disappointment so I hope the next time, things will go back to how they were or you'll lose a pretty consistent customer."
