"We were seated at a wonderful window table. Food was delicious. When I booked the reservation I had noted it was my wife’s Birthday Celebration. The host/hostess must not have notified our server as there was NO mention from any of the staff recognizing her special day! Very disappointed!!"

"The good: great atmosphere and vibe with excellent beer selection and full service bar. Food is also very good pub fare. The bad (or terrible): the service is an abysmal. More than 10 minutes to come over and take a drink order and it only happened because I went to the bar to ask them to send a waitress over. Asked our waitress twice for hot sauce...nothing! Asked another waiter (who by the way as it turned out, the only responsive person in The place) and hot sauce finally appeared. It wasn't as if they were short on staff. As we were waiting for our drink order to be taken a waitress stood two tables over tucking it up with her pals who had just arrived. Place is in dire need of good management. Looking for good food AND good service head down the street to the Brown Lantern. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4"

"Update June 3, 2018: We had the pleasure to eat again at Dad's Diner and this place just sleeps our mind served with the aromas of food! My husband Dave I with our 2 favorite friends visited Anacortes from Langley Canada this morning and was so happy to see our favorite server Gabriel. Gabriel gave us the best service again and gave us a nice description of the specials that sold the Porkbelly Jarlsburger with maple bacon marble, which sold my husband! It was just as described by Gabriel! The only sad part was Dave didn't want the burger to end! Thank you to Dads and especially Gabriel and Vanessa that we always come for more! See you all in October! My husband I had eaten by Dad with our good friends on Friday night. We are from Langley Canada and come out every year and Dads is always a great highlight for us for the great food and service! Our server, Gabriel is knowledgeable about every menu item including the hot sauces and is enthusiastic and friendly in its efforts to provide a quality dining experience. Dad's lucky to have Gabriel when he goes beyond the call of duty and is a hard worker who smiles around to do things! The party melt is made of high-quality ingredients and so delicious. We came back to breakfast Sunday morning and Vanessa also delivered excellent service! The bacon with the fennel edges is incredible! Every time we get back to Anacortes, Dads is our number one for big food service."
