"A buddy of mine has been raving about Komodo Loco for several months, so when I had the opportunity, I had to see first hand what the fuss was about. It is off the beaten path, near Downtown Denton, off Hickory, on Oakland, which is a seldom traveled side street. The place looks like it is a 100 year old brick building that has an interior reminiscent of the best restaurants in New York City or Chicago, definitely not Denton. Very chic, yet very comfortable. Gabi our waitress was off the charts stellar. We started with shishito peppers that were pan blistered with sesame seeds and served with soy sauce and lemon, Wow! We followed with chicken skinz which are fried chicken skins served with wasabi micro greens, green onions, sesame Thai, and Korean barbecue sauce. Incredible! My friend had a bayou tower, which consisted of raw spicy tuna, avocado, serrano peppers, fried crawfish tails, creamy wasabi, eel sauce and cilantro. He said it was beyond fabulous. I had the fuego rojo roll. It consisted of spicy raw tuna, fresh jalapeno, ebi shrimp, habanero tobiko, strawberry, and sesame Thai sauce. The quality of food is beyond belief, the service is on point, the decor is cutting edge, and the prices are moderate. Dinner was one incredible taste after another. This is fusion cuisine beyond expectations. There is nothing in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex that holds a candle to Komodo Loco. Put this place on your Bucket List and you will return time and time again. On a scale of one to ten, I give this place a seventy five."

"Service was prompt and staff friendly. I would eat their Cream of Crab soup everyday if I lived closer. Delicious! Fish and Chips platter was good but I think I'd try something different next time."

"At first we were not sure to eat here, but the food and service turned out to be amazing. We went through town when we decided to stop here for Burger. When we went to someone, said to sit wherever we want. There were 2 people at the bar and a table with customers. We weren't sure who said nobody welcomed us or something. We thought that was strange and second guessed this place, but the bar call was warm and friendly and very welcoming. We got burgers and loved how big and juicy they were, but the frits seemed to be cooked in old oil or not to be cooked enough. Fortunately, the burgers filled enough."

"Denton Grille was literally closed Friday, March at pm. We found that out after we successfully booked OpenTable reservations and drove minutes to get there. The phone number for the restaraunt was out of service. I called when i got there and saw the obviously closed restaruant"
