"We were spontaneously in the Klosterschänke today. The man chose the restaurant and I must say it was a very good choice. There is a very nice beer garden and since the weather was still great today, we sat outside. It is also great that there is a small playground for the Kiddies. Our children weren't with us, but it's great anyway. We have always thought about coming to Sunday brunch. I'm going to dinner. The menu is small and fine and there are also seasonal dishes on an extra card. It is also very large that the allergens were shown at each court. So I was able to make my choice as a gluten allergy disease. I had the big salad with roasted salmon and feta, and the man had the carving with spices and fries. Everything was tasteful and delicious! Prices are moderate and very good. All in all a Kleinod in the middle of Dresden. We'll be back."

"This restaurant is located on the back side of Zwinger, towards the Holiday Inn.It serves excellent Ukrainian food. Very generous portions. Nice staff. Whoever is tired of Sauerbraten and the Roulade should come here. I thought that the ice cream they used for deserts was a little lower quality, but the other dishes were simply delicious. From the street the place seems perpetually sort of deserted, but don't be discouraged, it is a great opportunity to try something new. Once you come in you will notice that there are guests inside. They have a print-out of an English menu, otherwise the menu is printed in Russian and German. I communicated with the waitress in German, not sure if she knows English."

"I had dinner here on my own while on a business trip in Dresden. It was just round the corner from the hotel I was staying in and only a minute walk from the Frauenkirche. I had a couple of dark beers and the...steak with gorgonzola sauce and penne pasta. The food was excellent although a good vet could have got the steak back on its feet as it was very rare. Interestingly enough I was not asked how I would like the steak so that is the default doneness be aware if you do not like it that rare. I can eat steak that way and it was very nice but it could put a lot of people off. The service was ok but nothing to get excited about not too good but not bad. I would certainly consider going back as the food tasted great."

"Popped by here after a cycle across the Czech border with friends. It's Germany so the beers were great. Really friendly staff and a nice location. Not sure how good it would be if it was cold though."

"This Italian restaurant was so, so delicious. I really recommend it, but you need to make a reservation because there are a lot of people all the time. I recommend pasta and pizza, but salmon was my favorite. They don't have an English menu and...employees do not speak really well, but that's okay, you can understand everything and they are really helpful and try to do the best"
