"Poor, not good value for money. no wonder that they can offer so many discount vouchers and big discounts when they have casino tickets. the full price is far too high for what they get. the house wine is very poor, a surprise for an Italian restaurant and costs £6 for large glass! the palma dolcelatte was a terrible value at £11.49 for some tagliatelli with cheese sauce and a piece palma ham. I was so depressed that I greeted myself to strawberry pannacotta. After waiting for 20 minutes, the smallest pannacotta I've ever seen came without grief. £6! you see pictures from the menu attached and what I actually get! a terrible experience."

"Decided to try out the new chef at The Tall Ships. Went for a Sunday roast, and what a fabulous meal we had. Roast beef with all the trimmings cooked to perfection, fully/crispy roasters and a lovely selection of fresh veggies. So much food we couldn’t even clear our plates. We will definitely be coming back very soon 10/10"

"Genuinely amazing food, and as always very polite, efficient service. Not worth losing a star but worth noting: the food can be a little bit spicier than standard curry houses, but they have plenty of mild options on the menu. Personally would recommend the Butter Chicken main, as it's creamy/mild but packed with beautifully intense flavour."

"I had such a nice evening Saturday. amazing selection of beer and alcohol for all. the personal is very funny and friendly. as friends in a sense that the plave gives an amazing atmosphere. also the vegetarian food I had was to die for 10/10. kudos at the kerl wired the Japanese star wars teeshirt. I really need to know where you got it from!"

"The Fountain Inn in Gloucester is situated in a nice part of the city centre, very near the beautiful cathedral. The interior of the pub really does, as advertised, look like a country pub. It's small inside but has two dining areas, so for meals it accommodates more than appears to be the case on first impression. The food is absolutely first rate quality and a very reasonable price. Whilst the pub feels warm and inviting and the other patrons we meet are often friendly, as regular visitors we've unfortunately found that the same can occasionally not be said for many of the staff. Whilst service at the bar is usually quick and we're tended to at table very diligently, many of the staff, regardless of age, can be monosyllabic when spoken to, can come across as sullen and can occasionally even be quite rude and brusque in response to friendly enquiries or order requests especially when they're busy. This is a shame for a pub which otherwise faultless."
