"All of the food was delicious and friendly staff/service. Only thing I would say is we sat at the tables near the back of the cafe and could smell the dishwasher which wasn't very pleasant at times. Maybe sit outside or to the front of the cafe if you go."

"I really appreciate the location of the restaurant and how easily accessible it is, and the interiors of the place is quite attractive, it gave a sense of Japanese hospitality, unlike most overblown Asian restaurants. The staff were quite polite and attentive as well.<br/>For the food:<br/>we had the takoyaki which was fairly good -slightly crispy merging towards the soft saucy insides and then the chewy octopus. <br/>The Steamed gyoza wasn't very appealing, it lacked consistency and was rather bland in taste, even with the provided sauce. <br/>The fried oysters were a bit empty, there was too much crumb and batter that the insides were quite hollow. <br/>The teriyaki salmon was a bit over cooked and dry but was well compensated by their teriyaki sauce<br/>The chilli fish was quite good, well cooked with even flavours throughout every bite. <br/>Their steamed rice was perfect, it holds and pushes your appetite throughout the meal."

"This is a 10/10 place. They have officially become my favorite restaurant. They do the BEST ribs hands down. I've only ever had one mistake out of all the times I've gone there. Which must be more than 10 by now. Ribs and pudding w/ice cream is my regular. And they immediately fixed the issue and have taken extra special care with my food ever since. Like next level TLC on my food. HIGHLY recommend you try this place. I've had the lamb, lasagne, the ribs, the pasta, desserts. Just all sorts and honestly they are my favorite place hands down! They're amazing all round."

"Ordered Steak and it was good, (Note: Hotel has parking issue i had to wait 30 minute in car in order to staff to come in out take mu car for under ground parking."

"The most iconic traditional Italian food I have ever tasted all Italian staff too so they know their stuff! My plate was left squeaky clean. If I’m even in town again I will only be coming back here. Loved it"

"Came here for dinner not long ago and the food was amazing! The wait staff were very efficient with all tables and answered all our questions. They were very prompt in offering us drinks and taking our orders. Wait time for food was fairly quick too. I haven't given a 5 because the cocktails were a bit average and my steak wasn't cooked properly. But I would definitely give this place another go :"

"Very good food at a decent price. Went on Friday when they have a promotion on anything from the grill with your choice of starch for $31. Steak was around 300g and was decent! 10/10 would eat again"

"Genuinely friendly experience. <br/>The team is very friendly, informative and I believe truly proud of what they serve. We were recommended the Matariki special Herb Stuffed Otorohanga pork loin served with smoked purple kumara puree, watercress oil, braised cabbage parcels, roasted cherry tomatoes and Pukekawa agria potato game chips.<br/>It was awesome. It tasted fantastic, it looked great and the presentation with the smoke from the glass was excellent. So glad I followed the recommendation of the waitress. <br/>Highly recommended! Kudos to the chef and his team, Dave and his team front of house!"

"This is a social enterprise that showcases the delicious and diverse cuisine of Hamilton's migrant community. They have a range of dishes and cater well vegetarians and vegan diets. The cooks and wait staff are friendly. They also run cooking classes and can cater for events. The organisation is built with a strong environmental and social ethic, plus the food is amazing!"

"Exceptional. Food presentation was really good. The taste also great. There were lots of ingredients in the plate, and the flavors were mixed very nicely. Service was very friendly too. Must try cafe !"
