"Read more about this place is a foodie site on FB, so I thought I would try. I had the shrimp andouilie gumbo, and the woman had a wild mushroom pack. The gumbo was as good as anyone I ever had, the maize bread, maybe the best. My wife loved the packaging. We will return to try the rest of the menu soon. I'll bring friends because this place is too good not to share."

"The view from the patio is overlooking a lovely lake/pond in the distance. Very nice. Ordered smoked salmon off the breakfast menu. Very good and fresh. The bagel was standard, but all the other ingriedents were so good, it was fine. Wait staff was very friendly and accomidating. Perfect for breakfast."

"We went for Downtown Dining Week. This restaurant was on the $ 35 list but the service was well below that level. There was a long wait between courses, but the plates were not removed from the table until the next course arrived. Our server seemed very uninterested in our table. It also took a long time to get beverage orders delivered. New cutlery was not provided and I was specifically asked to remove my fork from the platter so the server could clear the platter. The food was decent to good, but nothing special. None of these issues would be as bad if it hadn't happened to all or the restaurant was on the $ 25 list instead."

"A little disappointed that when we arrived for our reservation that we couldn't have a drink at the bar. They now seat people there for eating. Staff was just ok. Our server had a bit of an attitude, but we love the food."

"This is excellent food and service at very reasonable prices in a cool atmosphere. The pasta and sauces are exceptional. Try the calamari appetizer and you will be asking for a jar of sauce to take home. Scallops perfectly prepared, pasta fresh and tender, meatballs simply outstanding. Absolutely love this restaurant and will drive the hour to dine here again over and over"
