"We dined for lunch on a Monday. (Hard to find places of this quality who open on Mondays!)The awesome friendly service from entry to dining to departure was amazing and so inviting. The menu enticing with reasonable pricing and the setting!..overlooking the Marina was just superb. The food quality was 10/10 including 10/10 for presentation, taste,value and service. Will be back again and again (as clearly many do) with a great reputation as one of, if not THE best restaurant in Port Macquarie. Parking at the door or opposite. This place is Sensational. Thanks especially to the friendly and professional owners and staff. Well done!"

"We requested oyster Kilpatrick for the 4 of us to share. When they came to the table they were clearly off (smelt bad). The waitresses were very apologetic, but the chefs dismissed our complaint, and did not even come out to speak to us.We cancelled the rest of our meals and left, never to return again!"

"We have stayed at the Mercure since late March, and had dinner at the restaurant most days. The main menu hasn’t changed a lot, but the quality of the meals was always great, and service was prompt and friendly(thanks Col, Cath and the others). The bruschetta is a bit different, and very tasty. They have a good selection of beers wines and cocktails. We’ll always have good memories of our stay here."

"Service was outstanding from the waiter and waitress, however we went during the re-furb so this review is for the outdoor restaurant time period. I don't like to write poor reviews, however maybe it will help them improve the quality of the food. Even with the temp kitchens I could have cooked a better steak on my own barbecue, so not sure what was going on in the kitchen. Menu not exciting enough for a supposed fine dining experience. Sorry, maybe they will improve when the new part is built."

"My husband and I went for dinner just to get out of the house on a very wet looong weekend . The good was fantastic . Lots of choices . Service was quick however we were in no hurry . The bill was tiny for what we had . Nice food good value . My only negative big groups ,lots of noise ."

"The food was SO GOOD at Café 66 and our waiter went well above and beyond the call of duty, what fantastic service! Only there was one lady who was loudly distracting our good waiter by giving him a dressing down over some chair that wasn't in the right place, right there where everyone could hear it. It was kind of embarrassing. Didn't change the fact that the pasta was the BEST EVER and our waiter was pure gold!"
