"I thought it was really great there. We sat outside at over 30 degrees, it always hurt a small breathing device through the alleys, so you could sit well there. The beer garden is located on the grain market right at the well, so you can sit in a completely rolling ambience. To eat, we had and, despite heat, we were happy on the guts and were not disappointed. The hunter's carving with roast potatoes was really great. Since it was quite full, the conditions had a lot to do, true, but fixed and super friendly. The card is not too big, but should have something for everyone. We will definitely go back."

"In my opinion, the sushi is one of the best in the area and the service is always extremely friendly. The sushi travels silently in circles on small wooden boats on a waterway, so NO rattling treadmill like in some other restaurants I find the decoration of the room sparse to sparse. "Wir müssen einen dieser nicht so glücklichen Tage erwischt haben: Zwar kosteten wir nur den Handkäs und den Flammkuchen, beides war aber katastrophal. Der Käse gummiartig und vom Geschmack nahezu ungenießbar. Der Flammkuchen war lauwarm und zäh, als hätte er bereits seit einer Stunde in der Küche auf einen Abnehmer gewartet. Und was an den Nachbartischen serviert wurde machte spontan auch keinen Appetit. Da passte es in das Gesamtbild, dass der Rheingauer Riesling aus der ansonsten gut sortierten Weinkarte an diesem schönen Sommerabend zimmerwarm serviert wurde. Allerdings ist der Vollständigkeit halber zu sagen, dass er nach einer Beschwerde gegen einen gut gekühlten ersetzt wurde. Hoffentlich erleben wir das nächste Mal mehr Licht als Schatten."

"The food is just perfect. Whether you chose meat, fish or pasta: everything is really tasty, good spices, cooked at the point. The menu has a broad variety of meat, fish, pasta and pizza. Also they have creative daily offerings (e.g. Iberican pig, pasta with...lobster, .. The sizes of the plates are really good. It is fair value for the money you pay. Absolutely recommendable, you will not find a better Italian restaurant in Wetzlar or Gießen!"

"I cannot understand why sometimes I have to leave Italy and come to Germany to eat a decent pizza! The bruschetta, the pizza and the tiramisu I ordered did not reveal any unpleasant surprises and even my guests showed appreciation for their dishes. As an Italian, I would recommend the restaurant to everyone. The location of the restaurant right in front of the Wetzlar church is very characteristic, especially if you have lunch in the outdoor area. One advice: if you can, book your place in advance."

"I've been back to Lahn Café for a long time with two girlfriends for breakfast and it was a super nice morning. It was great despite Monday, but fortunately we have the last, most beautiful place in the rear corner with a sweet sofa. The breakfast buffet goes until 1 p.m. and since we were relatively late (13h there, perfect! Fresh croissants-very tasty-and I am often in France; rolls, cheese, cold cut, yoghurt, cereal, egg, tomatoes, orange juice-all that wants the heart for 8.50€! After that we looked at the Lahnterasse, where you can sit directly on the Lahn. What the next time... Thumb up and thanks to the nice owners/services... Last time we were always at noon... homemade soups and cakes."
