"What a great culinary experience! Amazing service by Patrick and the noble BBQ team. Had our 10-year anniversary and that went beyond and beyond. Hats to the boss, an amazingly fresh menu with great execution. The grouping bowl with the beans and ramps was out of sight. We are happy to have this restaurant in the city and look forward to the children for terrace happy hour!"

"Super disappointing. Ordered to go and clearly should have more thoroughly inspected the food before we got home. Fish was so incredibly over fried that you couldn't tell what was breading vs. fish. One of our sides was wrong. Veggies had an odd taste and chicken was too salty. $40+ wasted."

"This is my 2nd village tavern I been to. I like this one better than the greensboro one. The Alfredo and Hot crab dip is outta this world. 10/10 going back. ONLY critique is the sauce was a bit too thin for my preference, but flavor, presentation, portion, and quality are great."

"Everyone had everything from ribeye, chicken channels and grilled garnels, burger and alfredo. I highly recommend saving space for freshly baked cookies with ice and toppings. service was great and very friendly. our first time and we will definitely come back. had a bad experience 3/16/2019. they have a new management and work to fix the problems we had. will update next visit to see if the changes have made a difference. if not this 5 stars will definitely be changed to reflect."

"Went this evening and it was rough from start to finish. They have issues to work out with timing and service but that is not the reason for the low rating.My wife and I both got the fried chicken and the breasts were so dry that they were inedible. Nothing was seasoned. The mac and cheese was another let down, tasted like velveeta. Yeah We got the blooming onion as an app and it was by far the best thing we got. It did come out at the same time as the rest of our food.If you do decide to give this place a try, I would give them some time to work things out."
