"Vorab gesagt wären wir ohne Schlemmerblock wohl eher nie auf dieses Lokal gestoßen, da Kronberg i.d.R. nicht in unserem Fokus steht. Das Restaurant in einem schönen Fachwerkhaus in der kleinen aber feinen Altstadt von Kronberg. Recht versteckt in einer Gasse die nicht vom Zentrum angefahren werden kann. Der Gastraum ist rustikal, heimelig und hell in warmen tönen gestaltet. Der Service, vermutlich der Inhaber, ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und immer zu kleinen Späßen aufgelegt. Da wir noch nie lettische bzw. russische Küche probiert hatten war ich sehr gespannt. Das geröstete Malzbrot mit Knoblauch, Borscht als Suppe vorneweg und als Hauptaugenmerk einmal den Hering und einmal Lamm-Pelmeni mit Zwiebeln und Speck. Meine Tochter wählte die zarte Hähnchenbrust mit Steinpilzsosse, die zarter nicht hätte sein können. Alles sehr, sehr lecker und ausreichend portioniert. Dazu hatten wir Glück, das an jedem letzten Samstag im Monat live Gitarrenmusik geboten wird. Der Gitarrist spielt sehr angenehm untermalende Musik die zum Ambiente sehr gut passt. Die Preise sind nicht niedrig aber angemessen. Wir können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen und kommen sicher wieder."

"The restaurant company has clearly left Corona. There is no more beer from the barrel, but only bottle beer, served in inappropriate glasses, e.g. fist in Krombach glass. This is where the emblem and the scripture are already going. bread to salad is served with a very small slice of butter; that's spicy. The good sea salt from 2018/2019 is no longer available. The operation is childish, silly and slightly disturbed. Why not simply serve the good guest easily and comfortably well? That would be too much, would it? The business cards for billing are equipped with completely wrong opening hours. Finally, the field salad has tasted well with Croutons."
