"My three friends and I visited this restaurant on a Saturday night at 9pm. We had booked a table, and arrived on time. Upon arrival, we were told our table had been given to another group because there were “more of them”. We should have...taken that as a sign and left, but as it was late we stayed; hoping a member of staff would do their best to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, we were not seated for another hour and a half. After finally being given a table, we waited for another half an hour for menus and water which only materialised because we complained. Some stale bread rolls arrived, most of which were so stale they were as hard as rocks and inedible. We then ordered our food. I ordered an avocado salad with chicken. I had imagined some mixed leaves, with fresh slices of avocado and chicken, tossed in a dressing. What I received was a pile of guacamole on a small plate. No salad leaves, no other vegetables, nothing. Guacamole. It even had the bits of tomato in, like supermarket guacamole. The chicken was an optional addition so goodness knows who would want to eat plain guacamole on its own. Said chicken was nowhere to be seen, so I asked a member of staff what was happening. He disappeared, and came back approximately five minutes later with a small bowl containing plain pieces of chicken. They are charging €17 for some guacamole spooned onto on a plate and chicken pieces in a small bowl; I still cannot believe the ridiculousness of this dish even now, 24 hours later. To add insult to injury, one of my friends who had ordered a Poke Bowl and found that to be mediocre as well had a fly in her side sauce. Admittedly, that can happen anywhere; but in a restaurant charging these kinds of prices I would expect the staff to notice when serving and replace the sauce. The Poke Bowl also claimed to have “fresh avocado”...but yes, you guessed it, it was just a spoonful of that famous guacamole again. The toilets were flooded and you needed a torch to find your way around. When we complained at the end of the meal, we were told that they “can’t help being popular” and that they were so busy that they couldn’t offer the standards they want to normally. I find this a rather poor excuse. Also, the abundance of guacamole was apparently due to them being a “fusion restaurant”. I’m not sure I buy that either. Maybe they were in fact having a bad night but if you are on a special trip with friends you have not seen in a year, as we were, I wouldn’t risk it."

"The restaurant is one of my long-term favorite restaurants in Munich. Although the location in the Münchner Westen is neither particularly central nor the surrounding area is particularly attractive, the restaurant is always worth a visit.The ambience is very classic elegant, the unusual name is due to the fact that it was an Egyptian restaurant earlier, about thirty years ago. The food is very fine and seasonal, especially recommended are the homemade pasta with white truffle. There are also time and again seasonal weeks, e.g. at the Stone Mushroom. The wine selection is excellent. Even at great celebrations, the service and food is at the point of 50. My mother's birthday was very successful."

"Always be an experience - excellent, always original compiled and a point prepared and served 4-course menu with excellent price-performance ratio (approximately 35 euro), real bottle and house wines, constantly changing map with fresh fish and seafood and the special touch (who expects to be a "small italian" in a next street are still a memorable pussy the device is thief-elegant - if the weather allows it, you can also dine under a brandy outside. spaghetti carbonara and pizza are not available at any price - and that is also good!"
