"I visited here for lunch and it was really good. I had the Penang Beef, a good size for lunch, very tasty and good value for This is a no frills restaurant but it appears to serve good Malaysian food which is quite rare...on the Gold Coast. I will return to try some other dishes."

"While the waiter was beautiful, we received two luke warm suppers with uncooked vegets and raw meat. pho normally has a boiling substance, so that the sweet and thin cut meat cook in the broth. we returned them when they were not edible. They...must have just microwaved them, which meant that the ceramic shells were too hot to touch and the shimmers did not cook properly. really terrible suppen. we are not coming back."

"During our four weeks in Burleigh Heads, we bought a number of take always from this place. Never disappointed. Our favourites were the Jungle Curry, which we chose spicy, and the Singapore Noodles, again spicy. We like our food "hot". The service is speedy and friendly. The portions are huge, I got two good size meals from my noodles. Highly recommended. There is seating, and you can dine in. When next in Burleigh will certainly return."

"Lived on the Gold Coast for over 30 years and have eaten at almost every Thai Restaurant the Coast. THIS IS IT- If it's good quality, generous quantity and good value that you want- GO NO FURTHER!! This is an unknown gem It's in a weird place (in a small block of shops beside a petrol station) but don't let that put you off. Most people wouldn't give it a second glance but anyone who tries it, will not be disappointed. It's where you go for great quality Thai food when you can't be bothered cooking and you need a break. It's not the 'get dressed up for a night out' type dinning It was formerly the Tallie Thai but the new owners have renamed it Silver Thai. Parking is easy and generally available right at the front door. The service can sometimes be a little slow as they don't have many staff but the service is always so friendly & humble with good enough English. The food comes out in good time and is always made of good quality fresh ingredients plus the serving sizes are generous. We love the food and the prices are very reasonable It's not licensed but BYO is welcomed. A lot of there business is take away but they have a number of regulars too. We have taken friends there are they continue to dine there. So the secret is out!! Don't miss this one as you will be really pleasantly surprised"

"We ordered takeaway some time ago and stated that there is a capsicum allergy so there isn't to be any in any of the dishes. We checked the top couple and they seemed OK but when we got home, there was capsicum in one dish. I called and they advised I had to return the dish, for a refund. So, we were left with the option of heading back down there, which would have been another 30minutes, or go without that one dish. If we'd gone back down, we would have had a cold meal. There was no apology and when I took the dish in, as proof, the cost of that meal was refunded. Anyway, we thought we would give them a second chance and ordered over $100 worth when we had some friends over, clearly stating again that there was to be no capsicum or seafood. When the food was collected we started to check and the woman at the counter stated emphatically that there was no capsicum or seafood. Well, surprise, surprise, when we got home, there was capsicum in not 1 but 2 of the dishes as well as seafood and ham in the vegetarian noodle dish we ordered. I have emailed twice but not even so much as the courtesy of a reply. As a result we won't ever eat here or from here again and encourage others to do the same. How difficult is it to get an order right in the first place and then if there is a mix up, provide some form of apology and a little bit of customer service. It is a shame as the other food was quite nice."
