"I was looking for something quick to pick up to-go while out running errands and pulled up happy cow and found this place. It only had one review so I wanted to add another because this is a hidden gem and they need more credit for having several vegan (and vegetarian) options listen separately on the menu. I got the Baigan Bharta (eggplant) and it was AMAZING. The flavors were so rich and delicious. Even my daughter tried some and told me “you need go give this restaurant a 5-Star review!!” And I would have given it 5 stars if happy cow would let me (they reserve 5 stars for vegan only restaurants). Definitely will be ordering from here again."

"GrillkabobexpressvaGreat and tasty food served up by a lovely family in Fairfax that's been operating for over 10 years! I don't know how I've never had Mantoo's before because they were phenomenal. Mantoo: STAR of the show, these dumplings were not only so pretty but SO tasty and probably my new obsession. Chicken tikka kabob: Cooked well, a classic and my usual go to. Chicken beef koobidah combo: Another classic but the seasoning on these were SO flavourful. The sides: bread, rice, chickpeas, chanti white sauce were all sooooo good and paired perfectly with the entrées.Definitely worth a visit and I know I'll be going back next time I'm in that area! "Usually five stars, but this time our server was a bit rattled, the wine delivered a little late, and the nan a bit too crisp. On the other, yummy lamb roganjosh and fish curry. Always superb main dishes, with some selections involving goat and regional dishes not usually found at local Indian places. We go here often. The staff is pleasant, and the fine musician who plays in the main dining room (at least on weekends) delivers the ambiance of being in Delhi."
