"The worst Pakistani food I've ever had in my life. It took an hour to get our dishes, which were prefabricated by the way (for they said the Karahi would last 45 minutes) and the chicken tikka masala and chicken handeee were both disgusting. When we asked the waiter and the manager again and again what took so long, they just didn't know how to address him because the staff was no longer informed. I would only recommend this place to a friend if they put it on their never going close list. Such a disappointment."

"We visited this place in July 2020 for the first time when we were in Jersey city. Being Biryani lovers, the name Biryani Darbar sparked quite some interest. We went in and placed an order for some of the usual Mughlai items (Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken etc) and the Darbar Boneless Chicken Biryani. While the the Mughlai stuff was good, what really took us by surprise was the Biryani. The chicken was tender, well seasoned and the rice was flavored beautifully as well. We loved it so much that we found an opportunity to travel down to Jersey city again just to get our hands on that Biryani one more time !! So if you are looking for a place to get some good Biryani, I would highly recommend giving this place a shot."

"There was so much hype about the Goat Dum Biryani so I wanted to try. It was so colorful but tasted horrible and unauthentic. The meat was so hard and didn't taste like goat. Also got Chicken Seekh Kabab which had more spice mixture than minced meat. So their quality in taste is consistent. Never going to get anything from here again."

"Probably the closest Middle Eastern restaurant to the Statue of Liberty ?. Food is okay, although different kind of chicken dishes tastes almost the same : because of use of same kind of cooking methods and sauces. And looks like only run by couple of guys, and they can be overwhelmed when a lot of customers are there."
