"I have made dinner reservations for a friend 30-remembrance surprise birthday on a week night. there were 12 of us on a long table. they ensured that we were well supplied and there was no abhorrence to bring gifts and cakes from a oustide seller. the environment was perfect for a friendly birthday meeting and we funneled at different times after work. When we were all gathered together, we ordered a lot of wine and food! when the food came out, we got a little quieter and then all were murmurm of yummy and as good as we cried. there were no complaints. the auberginenparmignia here is excellent! I like this place because it feels comfortable, but can accommodate big parties. another plus is the noble low lighting and that it does not blow tw 's. the owner was very friendly. Thank you for having us."

"Not available via OpenTable! Great place... only one (big) problem: George 's has not accepted OpenTable reservations since early 2017. When I got to the desk on Monday June 26, 2017 with my group of 4 for a business dinner at 7:00pm, the Maitresse 'D informed me the restaurant was completely booked, for the entire night, and I did not in fact have a reservation of any kind. This, in spite of the confirming reservation via OpenTable the day before. She explained they (now) only accept reservations via Yelp. While this was extremely annoying, I went back with another group the following night after making a reservation in person. Terrific food, great atmosphere and a solid value, but not available via OpenTable. OpenTable is really fouled up here. OpenTable DOES NOT have the ability to commit reservations for George 's, even though both the OpenTable website and app says they do."

"On my out to the Cali Vibes Fest I stopped at Fuego for some seaside dining. I started with the Grilled Lamb Chops with Chimichurri, Jalapeño Pepper Escabeche, Spring Sweet Peas, Roasted Sweet Potato with Cotija Cheese. This appetizer was the best dish of the evening. The lamb was cooked perfectly, meaty, and full of flavor. I would hands down recommend starting with the lamb. The meal that followed wasn't as good. I had the Ropa Vieja, a Cuban Style Braised Short Rib over a Black Bean Purée on Crispy Corn Tortillas with Cabbage Escabeche, Caramelized Plantains, and Crema. The first thing I noticed was that my fried plantains were cold and the short rib was warm at best. I was very disappointed in the temperature of my meal. The flavors were there I guess, but the portion was so small. For $33 I expected more than a scoop of meat and a pile of cabbage. The meat to cabbage ratio was way off. My guest had the Pan-Roasted Chilean Seabass with Fried Sage Brown-Butter, Blistered Tomatoes, Mashed Acorn Squash, and Chanterelle Mushrooms. The fish was actually pretty good and piping hot. Maybe my dinner was left in the window waiting for the fish to be cooked fresh and that's why mine was cold. While the fish was good, again, it was a really small portion for the cost. To keep from going to the concert still hungry, my guest and I ordered the Shaved Street Corn with Garlic Aioli, Queso Fresco, and Tajín. The street corn was better than both our dinners. The food is decent. When you come here, keep in mind that you're going for the water front views and atmosphere and you'll be okay."

"Very disappointed, the management was so rude and did not even put us on time when I had a reservation at seven. we sat almost 45 minutes later, didn't even give us the respect or apologized. eating is delicious, but unfortunately the manager eli has completely ruined our experience."

"I love Mediterranean food and this is a really good spot to get it. Chicken shawarma with garlic sauce on point! It’s tasty and quick yet it feels like a nice meal out without a super high price tag. The patio is really spacious and chill. The owner was very friendly to us as well."

"It was my birthday and I made reservations about an open table and received a phone call from the restaurant that confirmed my reservation on the day of the reservation. when I was there, they told me they didn't just have yelp on the table, and about 20 people were all reserved for me. the lady at the writing informed me that the restaurant was converted to yelp and will not take open table. I still informed them that I received a call on that day that confirmed my reservation, and someone would have informed me at 1:30 a.m. when they confirmed my reservation of 6:45 a.m. I also mentioned that it was my birthday and you showed my call from open sesame to confirm my appt. I also answered my reservation when I was written on the afternoon. the ladies came through and picked me up for a table for 2 about 15 behind my reservations. thanks many, ladys, that they treat the great waiting masses and get me in. but someone should turn to open table to let them know that open sesam should be removed from the reservation functions to avoid over booking."
