"The menu that on its website is a bait and switch. the menu that is in the restaurant is about 25% of what they actually say of what they have online. eating was good, but the service was slow, and we became the second we saw the menu not what was advertised. when we asked about the things that were on their website, they said they didn't offer these dishes anymore. change their website!"

"Had a memorable meal with friends dining outside for the first time at Cafe Taj. A little slow to get our table setup, but once we started it was very pleasant. Our out-of-town visitors wanted Indian food, and Cafe Taj was the first place we considered for McLean. Great food, great time. Thanks."

"The eating was amazing! portions were big and everything was cooked to perfection! we have the lamb and the trout- highly recommended. the only feedback would be to turn off the music for the evening meal. they have very high ceilings and with a full restaurant and the music we couldn't even talk to each other. our waiter was super “Cyrus” and he turned it city. we go back on a weekday!"

"The owner treat the customers based on what they order and how much they are going to spend there. Having saffron ice cream without ordering the food is an unforgivable sin even you order a food to take out for your kid. He is rude and try to hide his thoughts by bowing in front of customers.I totally understand in this Covid era restaurants need support. But mismanagement and mistreat from them doesn’t relate to the hardship of the time.I don’t recommend there because of the service. Although the price is higher than average for a Persian food too."

"Long wait times even with a reservation. Even longer wait for food. Served sliders from kids menu undercooked- kids can get really sick from eating undercooked ground meat. Salad and kids food took about 30 minutes and entrees took even longer my slow eater kids finished their food and that was after sending the undercooked sliders back and getting the correct cooked ones. At that point, I just wanted to leave I wasn’t even hungry after eating bread drinking iced tea and stealing my kids fries. Server was inattentive forgot drinks and only refilled drinks when asked. Manager was nice enough to give us food to go."
