"The food was okay, nothing special for the prices and they were out of some basic things. The service was top notch!It was so hot inside the restaurant we were all sweating. This was during the winter, and they kept opening the front door to try to cool it down some. Unfortunately when we were only a few feet from the open door, we were freezing within a minute. As soon as the door closed, it was back to sweating again."

"Coming together with friends was perfect in saffron! we have been sitting with 10, the service was great, and eating was amazing! the server led us through the menu and showed favorites. we were able to order at our own desired seasons! I will come back with my family!"

"Excellent French inspired food. a little expensive, but freshly made and handmade dishes and cocktails. this is on the south side of the shopping center regency, easier access from the door. the reservation for the evening meal is suggested as it fills quickly. of the orders we tried to visit on three separate, there was no loser in the group. everything was fresh and bursting with taste. they have an extensive bar with mixologists who know the craft well. if they are a soda pop drinker, they will get a dose of cok products (I am a well pop man himself, so not a trailer of this direction). decor is modern, but not in-your-face-stylish."

"Dinner was absolutely amazing! Wonderful food and drinks. The steak was perfectly cooked. The only issue we had was the server. He made us feel like we were inconveniencing him by being there and he was not friendly what so ever. It took him 20 min from when we were seated by the hostess for him to even acknowledge we were sitting there. Drinks took about 15 min to be brought out, which I completely get considering it was a holiday. When it came time to take the order he said, “what do you want?” … so we placed our order and he says “okay” grabs the menus and walks away. I completely understand it was NYE and we understood the bar could take a bit, he had other tables, and the food could take a bit, however, I still feel like politeness goes a long way. Just made us feel very uncomfortable. The only prompt service or kindness offered was when we asked for the check and he brought within 30 seconds."

"Tent for Dad's 80. Birthday, reserved tab in front of the hand and could sit immediately. Food was excellent. Steak, lobster, salad, soups, appetizers. Small intimate restaurant. Felt like a proverb. The old Steak's house atmosphere. The waitress was helpful above the top. The cost was a little expensive, but we enjoyed it. I would go back and I recommend my friends and family"

"We love Spezia and it has always been our go to for anniversary and birthday dinners. Last night though the food failed to impress. It’s not that the food was bad, it just wasn’t nearly as good as we have come to expect, especially for the price. The crab dip appetizer looked fantastic when it came out, but once we started eating it, it just tasted like something you would get at a grocery store and warm up. The squash in the squash risotto was undercooked, whether that was on purpose or not I don’t know, but it made for a difficult time enjoying the dish, the rest of the risotto was just ok. The other main course dish we had was the gnocchi, it was very tasty and had an air of what we used to feel when eating at Spezia. I want to make it absolutely clear, the food was not bad, it just wasn’t as good as we have come to expect for the name Spezia and the price you pay. The service was excellent, our waiter was attentive and polite, he was enjoyable and seemed to be very busy but still was able to make it around and check on us enough. We will definitely be going to Spezia again."
