"We always enjoy eating at Sapphire. There is good outdoor space as well as additional tables at the end of the indoor area which opens completely to the sidewalk area. Service was very attentive and the food was absolutely delicious: we had flavorful garlic naan, complementary lentil chip papadum with two spicy sauces, the spicy shrimp large ones appetizer with a wonderful sauce, chicken tikka masala tangy well seasoned and a very fresh bright green palak paneer. Can’t top that for a fabulous dinner! We’d highly recommend the restaurant, now in its new location"

"Ok I work in the Tribecca area and happened to notice Saffron Thread but this was earlier of the pandemic, and I said when they open I'll try them out. Today was the day and I wish I came earlier. For starters the place in immaculate and the staff are pleasant and attentive. I was told of the specials that were available for the day.I decided to go with the chicken special which consists of a chicken dish, a vegetable dish and either rice or naan. I tried the chicken tikka masala with chana masala and rice with an order of vegetable samosa. The chicken tikka was very good especially the sauce not too sweet with just the right amount of heat. The chana was the same minus the sweetness oh so good. Alas I was not as impressed with the samosa. It was in the bland side but the saving grace is you can dip it in the ample amount of sauce from the main dishes. So if your down by Chambers and Church St and have a strong hankering for curry definitely consider stopping by Saffron Thread. The prices are reasonable especially for the amount of food.Ciao"
