"Prime location, it is only two blocks away from UN HQ where we had a meeting.
Toothsome dishes, an authentic Thai taste. Nice, simple and quiet restaurant with about 20 dinner tables inside. The menu is a long list of 'i dont know what those are ', though i believe that they are all tasty.
I went there with a pack of hungry Indonesian delegation the other day and had the restaurant full of our people.
However, we had to wait for a quite long time for the meal to be served, although we already made a reservation the day before. We ordered like, everything that i can 't tell what their names are. I couldn 't even finish my shrimp salad.
I recommend this place for dinner because midday had been often too crowded for this restaurant is the most famous thai restaurant in Midtown East."

"Very lovely experience here for dinner while visiting NYC. Came on a Sunday night at 7pm with 5 people without a reservation and was able to get seated right away on their beautiful, floral, cute outdoor patio. It 's actually all enclosed. The food was excellent. The appetizer portions were large, the main portions were fair, and everything we ordered was fantastic. We shared 3 apps and 2 mains between 5 girls and were left plenty full. The ROTI MATABA was my personal favorite deliciously flavored chicken on top of a flaky pastry. $38 for the short rib felt pretty pricey, though. Knocking off a star because although they weren 't super busy, they didn 't seem to ever check in on our table. We put in our appetizers first, and had to flag them down once we waited for awhile after finished them to put in our mains. We also constantly had to ask for our waters to be refilled despite putting the empties on the edge of the table to indicate a refill. Servers were all sweet and friendly, just not as attentive as they could 've been. Overall would definitely recommend this place for tasty, fresh Thai food in west village!"
