"Visited cliche on Friday evening and we all enjoyed the experience. We shared entrees with excellent results for the lamb shank and pork belly. For mains the chicken, duck salad and the nightly special of porterhouse. Good wine list and whilst we skipped dessert the la sphere looked incredible and when we return we won't make the same mistake"

"We came here for dinner after driving passed this place numerous of times. We were welcomed warmly and seated straightaway. The place was not very busy but most of the table were taken on that weekend. I also noticed that some of the tables have reservation card on it, making me think the place should be good right? Since we were not starving we opted for the papaya salad and gulai Lamb Shank with rice on the side. Unfortunately, the papaya salad left a bad impression on our taste buds. I had quite a few of papaya salad in the past that this one just tasted wrong. Somehow, it didn't taste as fresh. But the lamb shank was really good. "30 weeks pregnant and low in iron - needed a good feed of meat and I got it!Big selection of meat cuts to choose from. You can cook your own (no one does) or pay an extra $5 to get the professionals to do it!Great quality meat and cooked to perfection.The pub is a beautiful old building with open fire places and lounges to chill or an enclosed 'outdoor' area that has gas heating and very comfortable even on a 10 degree, rainy night! They also have other meals other than meat, but I was on a mission... other people's meals looked amazing too!"

"The staff were so friendly and the food was delicious. We were impressed with the menu as it stated what was nut free and dairy free. Our son is allergic to nuts and dairy and the menu had so many options for him. He loved the DF garlic herb bread and kingfish. Would definitely recommend."

"A lil more than pub grub. THis is a fave amongst my friends and I...we have tried several dishes ranging from the shared platter to schnitzels, braised duck, steamed vegetables, salmon, fish and chips to squid. The food is sensationally cooked, never burnt or undercooked. You get a Turkish breadroll which is yum, and if there is time to fit in dessert, I highly recommend the mississippi mud cake or the crumble dish. Parking is quite good, and if you are lucky the live music may be on (depending the night you visit), be sure to have a reservation as it can be quite busy on the weekends."

"Stopped for lunch when driving from Litchfield to Katherine. Great hotel with good food and we really enjoyed barramundi, chips and salad. Was a hot day and we ate in the shade. Well worth the stop, thoroughly recommended."
