"OK, you may know Grumman78 as a Tacos restaurant but, it is much more than just that.But lets start by the physical location. Grumman78 is located in an old garage, transformed in this eclectic area where it feels good just sitting and looking around, discovering old paintings here, retro lamps there, etc.It's a place to go with friends. It's fairly loud and lively.Now, the food. Well yes, there are Tacos on thr mrnu and they are great. fish, meat or the Taco of the Month, which were from Montreal's own Hugue Dufour, formerly from Au Pied de Cochon and now serving amazing food in NY @M. Weels !And there are all kinds of other things on that menu, Shrimp Tostada, grilled endives salad, Lamb skewer.The food is great, the place is amazing and the service, authentic. Nothing pleases me more than being served by someone who knows about what the restaurant serves, in details and more importantly, knows about wines and pairing with this great food.A must when you are in Montreal for a casual dinner."
