"Watch the hours! My employee arrived was waiting for my arrival from a cross town. She was informed that as long as we ordered by 2.15p that there wouldn’t be a problem but they never said that it would have to be takeout only at that point. We ordered right at 2.15p so we didn’t expect any problems. Expecting to enjoy a nice lunch and have a nice conversation, however we were then booted out. I was told that if we didn’t want to have the lunch that we could have left it but I don’t like to waste food. However had I known that this is what was going to happen I certainly wouldn’t of ordered a deep fried sampler fried foods never carryover well and they certainly don’t reheat up well later on. Yuk. They are apparently used to closing down at 2:30 every day but their communication skills at defining this particular element are quite lacking. I have no problems with limited hours but be upfront about it and tell people so that they can make arrangements or go elsewhere. At that point we had to find somewhere else to go and put the food in the vehicles. It was nearly 3pm by then and neither of us had eaten yet because of our work schedule. So we were quite hungry by then, which makes this a little worse than usual. The design of the restaurant is very poor and it’s terrible in the winter time. Every time the front door opens, wafts of air chill the entire place down. An Arctic entry or an L shape entrance needs to be reviewed. If I return, it will be in the summer months when it’s warmer and certainly during hours that are much more optimum because apps a later lunch doesn’t seem to be available. Note: food 3/4 stars. The food has been fairly good the past couple of times I have patronised the restaurant but this put a negative overtone on it all."

"Best Indian/Himalayan food in Anchorage. My wife has been to Katmandu several times and says this food is the real deal. I just know that I like Indian food and this place has the best to be found short of a trip to Seattle."

"The main dishes were excellent flavor, not as spicy as I would have liked having ordered meduim spicy. The Naan was burned and served with no dipping sauce, so that was a disappointment. The chi was very good (comes unsweetened , but I was never offered a refill. The staff was friendly and polite but didn't really check on you to see if you wanted more chi, water, etc. I will definitely give them a second chance as the main dish was of excellent quality. I feel the price is a little high for the quantity of food, but the taste was excellent. Based purely on value, Bombay will have to be more of an occasional treat kind of dinner than one ordered on a regular occasion."

"Huge portions, huge menu, delicious food. We have 1/2 order of Momos, a Veg thali, and a lamb vindaloo and had enough for 2 for dinner and rest for lunch the next day. Definitely recommend this to everyone!"
