"This is a restaurant in a five-star boutique hotel -the Primus hotel. The service was great ,the staff took good care of each table, they had interaction with us during the whole dinner service. The food totally met our expectations, the lamb chop was super tender and everything was seasoned on point. My friend ordered a steak ,he said it was the bomb. We went there on a weekday’s night, it wasn’t too many people, so we enjoyed the dinner a lot."

"An impressive restaurant and we thoroughly recommend it. Andrew (the owner) helped us choose what to us was the perfect option of sharing salt & pepper squid entree, delicious mains (pasta special of the day and barramundi) and sharing sticky date pudding for desert - all gluten free which was important for us, and all very tasty and fresh. And we took advantage of the $45 entree/main or main/desert deal.We liked the variety of gluten free options and that Andrew was very obviously looking to cater for other dietary needs including dairy free, which was a signal to us he will do really well in catering to a wider variety of customers.The service from all of Andrew's team was excellent- they were all friendly, attentive and professional. As we looked around it really seemed that everyone enjoyed working there.. a nice environment in which to enjoy a meal. Thanks Andrew and team for a nice night, we'll be back"

"Stopped in for a combination of a very late lunch followed immediately by a light dinner! Can highly recommend the Fire Station pizza. In fact I did: to two strangers on the street! Great to be able to have my doggo at my feet at the outside table. It's a really mixed, diverse crowd that gets along to Meltemi. Just another slice of Avalon village life! <3"

"By far the best Italian around. Everything on the menu is amazing. The lamb Ragu pasta is incredible,and the pizza is insanely good. Hard to beat. Don’t miss the Tiramisu. The staff are fantastic, felt like I was in Italy again."
