"The minute we went in, we were greeted by a smiling and very accommodating staff. The place is very welcoming even from outside. The food was great! My partner, who is usually very critical about restaurant food, went home with a satisfied grin on his face. And the place is child friendly, which is a big plus for me. The ambience is very relaxing. You would really want to come again. And again."

"We were in the pokie area and honestly the the security is useless. Over the past3 or 4 weeks we have been to Craigs it seems the staff are quite happy to allow some element of society to come in ,act loud and use offensive language. This is not what we expect from this beautiful building and all its hype, sure other pokie venues are like it ,but not at Craig's .So disappointed that we cannot go out nowadays without seeing and hearing this unacceptable behaviour. The security at Craigs is only good for telling old men off ,they do nothing when it comes to a real problem"

"This is one of those small, unpretentious places which serves the old fashioned home cooked food whether it be the soups, the absolutely superb pies (or if you can get their sausage rolls they are excellent - better than any bakery pies/sausage rolls I have ever known). They also have a range of sandwiches and pitta breads with the most delicious fillings, together with house made muffins and other desserts.Now for the coffee. To tell you how good it is my mother is mainly a tea drinker, but here she'll only have the coffee. It is really good. They have their own blend."

"Great Curry Lunch Special. Whenever I'm in the mood for a curry for lunch, I typically hit up this place. The owner and staff are really friendly and the curry itself is authentic and flavoursome, At the moment they frequently have a $10 lunch special which gives you three decent sample serves of the restaurant's curry, some Raita or chutney, a drink and a Nan bread.<br/ <br/ Sometimes there is a bit of a long wait (20 mins max) despite lack of customers, but the food served is very fresh, delicious, consistent and and this can be forgiven. I definitely recommend the lunch special for first-timers."

"Tried out the new menu and was very impressed!! The plates are the way to go to get to try a bit of everything! Pulled lamb was my fave! Added the mac n cheese which is prob the best I've tasted! Staff were extremely friendly and were able to help me out with special dietary requirements!"

"We had a banquet for three which started with a very nice samosa. The Chicken Tikka that followed on a sizzle plate was a beautifully tender drumstick each, but under spiced and an unappetising grey colour. As usual in many Indian restaurants, this was topped with a chiffonade of raw onion, capsicum and carrot - why on earth do so many do this? No-one eats that and, if it needs garnish, why not coriander which would also add to the flavour and high-notes?We had a butter chicken which was not well balanced - too much tomato, too sweet. We had a beef vindaloo which should be very hot and soured with vinegar but seemed to have been dumbed down for perhaps Australian tastes, and a strange but nice potato pattie dish in a slightly underwhelming sauce that seemed to be mushroom, but one couldn't quite tell. There were the usual accompaniments of papadoms (quite nice), raita (very nice) and a spicy mint relish (utterly delicious and very more-ish). The naan we had was Pashmiri, stuffed with dried fruit and coconut and had a very unpleasant smell of saponified fat. Perhaps the ghee had soured and turned rancid. I couldn't eat more than one bite, but my two friends ate theirs.Dessert was a deep-fried cheese-base dumpling in a sweet sauce. It was spectacularly delicious and reminded me of old fashioned English dumplings in golden syrup sauce.Great service (we were the only people in the restaurant), substantial serves (it was, after all, a banquet-style, so we didn't leave hungry), several of the wines were out of stock, and an overall pleasant but not brilliant experience"

"My husband & I both had the eye fillet with prawn skewers. Meals came in a good amount of time, steak was perfect, loved being able to cook it to our liking at our table. Service was great. We'll definitely be back!"

"Portion wizes are on the small side considering the cost. probably not aplace to come if ur really hungry unless u wana take out a loan. that said the food is delicious and the staff are great. atmosphere is cozy too."
