"Had to essentially ask to be served despite it not being busy at all….asked if I could have crusty bread was available, was told it was, but was just regular bread…and whilst I went “off menu”, what was basically a “brunch grill” anywhere else at most cafes, was charged at nearly £15 with the 2 slices and a couple of cans of soda……with a full charge for chips, but receiving just a handful…..and clearly the term “very well done bacon” was not a concept the server was used to…..very disappointed…won’t be back."

"I've come here a few times now with my collegue as we work just around the corner. I have to say this place is really a hidden gem! The interior and exterior is very out of date; odd chairs and tables, white walls and water served in metal cups but I guess this is them trying to preserve the authenticity of the cuisine. The have a very small and simple menu but this is what allows them to perfect whatever dish they already have on there. I usually order an extra hot Meat Karai which is slow cooked meat with garlic, tomatoes, garam masala and topped off with freshly chopped green chilli's. Get that with a plain rice or a selection of nans that they have available. Restaurant tasing dishes for fast food prices!"

"I love Indian food and have eaten at Indian restaurants all round the world. I have used curry xpress in Crayford and have always received a excellent friendly service and lovely food. The takeaway I had from there last night was by far the best curry I have ever eaten. I can't wait to go back. Well done boys, the best curry around"
