"Visited on a Saturday night, restaurant was busy. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Menu was fairly short but I liked the look of pretty much all of it, and much of it was seasonal. Had very good game paté with waldorf salad to start, then an excellent cordon bleu. My partner had venison which was also very good. Portions were generous. Good value for Zürich. Overall very impressed, I look forward to visiting again!"

"The food 5: steak...eating steak on a hot sizzling stone plate is great as we can cut and eat however we like it cooked. the food 3: chicken. can be a challenge since they serve it not 100% cooked on the hot stone plate. so you have to wait for he chicken to be fully cooked! Unless, you like raw chicken. the restaurent 5: great American style setup in Oerlikon. not very crowded.Service 3: they waitress kindna like talking over our head with their friend from time to time. making us feel like we are interrupting their conversation when we asked for service.Price 3: quite pricey for a piece of steak."

"Went here for dinner with my business colleagues. The service was the biggest disappointment. After we arrived we did not get bread for a long time, drinks came late or were forgotten. We waited for 20 minutes after our mains for someone to come and take the plates away and another 10 minutes to have a desert menu. And the cherry on the top is they lost my umbrella. At the end of our dinner around 11 PM there were only 2 service staff in the restaurant. This is simply not acceptable for the fine dining experience this restaurant wants to offer. The food is ok-ish. The starter was interesting. The steak - they have a special grill with 800 degrees top heat that should make a better crust. Honestly I felt the buzz is not worth the result. You can obtain a better taste with a bit of practice on your home grill. On top the beef is wet-aged while it should be dry-aged. For the prices they ask I would at least expect dry-ageing. Needless to say that prices are expensive but this is what you can expect in Zurich"

"I take time and again business partner with ins restaurant volkshaus and was still satisfied to this day. the service is attentive and the card is original and still grounded. In addition, one often has enough space to conduct talks. some of the simpler dishes I find inexpensive but something at the upper limit."
