"It's ok... They are trying to be a thing but they just don't capture what this thing is. The food is just average and is too expensive for what they are trying deliver. My partner's seafood dish was very salty and for £26 we both agreed it was worth around £14 at best. The table next to us both had steak and both said it was very chewy. I had their 3 fish dish which is the only savour of the meal as this was cooked well and very tasty. The final let down was the staff had no idea about what was fresh and what was not. They told me the prawns were fresh and caught off the coast of Brixham."

"Brixham is lucky to have this restaurant. It serves delicious South Indian food; which is a completely different taste to your usual Indian cuisine. It's absolutely gorgeous! Tucked away above Fore Street it has a great atmosphere; with very friendly owners. Definitely check this place out!"

"Another great meal here. not sure why there are negative reviews here, unless the people who leave the reviews are used for the service and eating in mcdonalds. they get what u pay for people....and in this case his first class in everyday. who cares about the decoration when ur it has amazing g eat and drink. "Had an absolutely incredible dinner here at the Curious Kitchen last night. Front of house was attentive and friendly, and all aspects of the decor and ambience were spot on- informal and tasteful. Chef Adam effortlessly brought together a beautiful 3 course meal, not before a delicate little amuse-bouche soup of squash and fresh sourdough with smoked butter. The summer veg salad was light and crunchy, followed by the star of the show, the lamb. Tender and rich with a stunning gravy and velvety minted Hollandaise, I could have buried my face in the plate. The lemon posset to finish was very clever, as it cleansed the pallet with sharp rhubarb and refreshing lemon, yet wasn't too heavy. An absolute triumph. Keep up the good work people"

"Large fish sauces hot oysters and mush to start very tasty. Following from dover sole with cream, cruvettes, crunchy fresh salat with zingy french dressing and homemade skin on chips with a large potato oy jewelry (only has to be a healthier option; sole was fixed like the turbot only the art and wise as it should be and get out of the bone smooth. casual atmosphere and welcoming and friendly people."
