"I dont understand the negative reviews. We walked in got a table and had a very pleasant dinner. This is authentic Moroccan food with a limited menu so all the food is fresh. The Tagine had the feel of a home cooked meal and the chicken brochette plate was nicely composed and tasty. Service was very good and friendly. This is a very different restaurant than the typical tourist place in Old Quebec."

"Excellent meal at Jjacques tonight, speakeasy restaurant bar. Great food, we had the oysters, beef carpaccio, foie gras and lamb. They were all faultless. We also sat by the bar and saw how everyone created our food, definitely made with passion. Great experience and good service from Charles-Antoine. Well done and thanks as we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.Kid-friendliness: More for those 18+ due to being a bar also"
