"We were a group of 4. All meals were excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. Service was efficient even though the restaurant was full, and very friendly. There was no pressure to leave after the meal and we were able to sit on and chat . Very enjoyable experience."

"The food isn’t great but the service is far worse, woman on till was the rudest most ignorant woman ever and was aggressive to my boyfriend. He was told to address the chef as sir and was told that mate was rude then screamed to get out without the food the chef laughed and gave him his food. This lady was the rudest woman ever her face was tripping her as soon as anyone walked in. When we were in their was an elderly lady who wasn’t wearing a face mask and she screamed at her to leave the shop and stand outside in the cold when her and the chefs were not wearing a mask. This was distressing for this elderly woman. The customer service was so horrific only thing that can help them is a new staff member for the front."

"We have a fabulous food. good portion sizes, the children's pizza was so big that we brought half of it home. the personal was really friendly. only on the bottom we went back to a day to lunch, and it was closed, although opening times said it was open: we were really disappointed."

"Visited today for a meal with my partner and our friends, as we had visited before and always had a great experience! the girl who served our table ruined our meal, very bad attitude. I understand that it is hard to get personal in the hospitality, but. her attitude was shocking, it seemed a lot of effort for her to take our order and then she called us children as we ordered the same court. we brought him with the manager and he apologized for her. very expensive menu that does not reflect the taste and quality of the food."

"Went with my wife and two kids last night. Service very poor...seemed to have a lot of new young staff, who were trying their best. Waited ages for food to be cleared, then even longer for dessert order to be taken. Kids food was fine...but my salt n chilli chicken was saturated in chilli sauce and the chicken was overcooked. The posh fish butty that my wife had was tasteless and the pea puree on the sourdough bread was a bad idea as it left the bread all soggy. This used to be one of my favourite places to eat on the north coast but there are now so many other places offering better food and service! Felt sorry for all the new staff....they looked like they needed a few more experienced people to look after them and show them the ropes."
