"We visited Shiraaz on a recent trip to Geelong convinced it was affiliated with the delicious Melbourne restaurant of the same name. We were apparently wrong about the connection but the meal was enjoyable enough. I did find the tandoori chicken and chaat quite spicy for my palette and needed to request some yoghurt which wasn’t the easiest thing to do given the lack of attentiveness from the staff. Fortunately I managed to procure some before catching fire and I found the butter chicken far more manageable heat wise"

"Best dish consumed was the lamb cutlets- cooked and seasoned well. My scotch fillet came out blue rare, though I ordered rare. You can’t go wrong with baked potatoes with sour cream, just wish I could say for the same the mushroom sauce that was sour and unpleasant. The ribs is on another level of disappointment. The meat is dried and coated with a tangy basting and would not recommend this dish."

"Always visit Malaga Restaurant for breakfast when staying in Geelong. Wonderfully old fashioned menu service. Grilled tomatoes a highlight not mushy or just warmed cooked to perfection.
