"Really great eating here, good atmosphere and good service. that is a great thing, because my dame is a very naughty eating, so if she said it was great, it must be like that. I had the steak pee, chips, heaps and gravy. the torte was noticeable, great baked, super thick cut chips, but for me the engraving was too thin. my good lady had chicken on a maic bed with a fine white sauce. I immediately knew it was good because she was all about it. That's what it's saying, it's really good."

"Visited for our 3rd time for the £25 Sunday lunch , first 2 times fantastic 10/10 all round food and service. 3rd time we got charged £30 For the Sunday lunch , when we questioned it we got told it was for the pianist . So a table of 6 all paid £5 each to listen to the pianist who had been there every other time we had been . It’s the principal of the matter really not the £5 extra that has put us off . The waitress informed us there was 200 sittings on that Sunday all paying an extra £5 that pianists must be rolling in it . Apparently we should have been informed of the extra charge when arriving but then don't advertise the Sunday lunch for £25 . It should be £30"
