"Kafta Combo Cold and terrible taste. I threw away more than half of it. The salad that came with it had a weird dressing. It directly went to garbage too. Cheese Pita Pie Cold. Nothing special. The only thing I was able to eat. Basically cheese and bread for the dinner."

"When they say small plates, they quite literally mean it. You are basically paying for the view and the fancy atmosphere. While all that is great, I didn 't have the best food in town here. IMO, if you are going to have this style of dining, it better also be the best tasting in town. While taste is subjective, what I 'm saying is that there is nothing special about the dishes here."

"Staff is always nice and friendly but the food is very hit and miss for the price. Ordered two sandwiches, the wild turkey and the East meets South. The chicken was as thin as deep fried deli meat and the turkey sandwich was dry and bland. The ceaser salad and chips were tasty."

"A lot of customizable options for size, taste and variety. I like that they warm up the pita bread. The beef was thick and tasty. Only negative was maybe beef could have a bit less sodium. However, definitely one of the better donaire options in Fort McMurray."

"The staff here is fantastic. They 're fun, the gentleman who was our waiter was very high energy and was belting out Bon Jovi tunes by the end of the night.I had the loaded poutine, great flavor combo with the fresh ingredients playing nicely off the rich cheese and sauce.The vindaloo was the only knock. As beef curries go it was flavorful and the beef was cooked to a beautiful medium but it was not a vindaloo by any stretch of the imagination. If you keep the recipe change the name to mild curry. When I eat a vindaloo I should break a sweat, I should be reaching for my drink, I should be wondering if the extacy of the heat now will lead to regret and bargaining with God the next day.Now they also dropped some items off the menu that they have had in the past. Memorable dishes like the elk meatloaf which was phenomenal when they had it and was worth the admittedly high price and going out of your way to get.All this said, I understand, this place is centrally located in Fort McMurray which isn 't exactly the flavor (or spice) capital of the world, which is why reworking their vindaloo would make this place really stand out as a go to spot as opposed to a Hey let 's try this spot."

"This is my second time trying their foods once was pick up and once was ordered through skip the dishes. With my pick up order, I got the dhaba style butter chicken. It was okay, just found it to be on the sweeter side and quite oily (even when mixed). With my skip order, I got the grand Indian pakora basket which seems like it was stale as it was quite dry and tough to chew. The beef samosas were okay, pretty generous on the stuffing. The lamb biriyani was okay, I got medium as the spice level and that was probably a little too much for me but that 's a learning experience for me. The Punjabi samosas were good as well. Lastly, the chole bhatura... it was quite dry. There wasn 't any gravy or consistency to it. I loved getting chole bhatura when living in Toronto and I 've never gotten it like this so I was a bit shocked when I got my order but thankfully it was flavourful. For drinks I got the Indian dhaba chai and that was really well made. One thing to note, when ordering through skip the dishes, I was given the option to add sauces (tamarind or mint) with almost all my dishes that I ordered and I made my choices accordingly, however they only gave me 1 mint and 1 tamarind. Even though I would think with the two types of samosas and the pakora, I 'd get 3 sauces... I was missing at least 2. Which could be a discrepancy in how the skip the dishes options are set up... but it is still disappointing. The experience so far has been a real hit or miss. I will continue to go back and try different things seeing as they have quite a bit on the menu and I 'm hoping to have a home run with at least one of their meals!"
