"I'm Brazilian. I'm living in the countryside. I'm here on vacation. one of the best restaurants where I was, I have never seen anything like it, totally rustic style, wonderful eating, logical style of Scottish cuisine and English. as always I try to sort vegetarian. very good and excellent service. happy birthday!"

"I wish I’d avoided the burger based on the other reviews, but we’d just returned from Ben Nevis and didn’t think anything could go wrong with a burger... But it was pretty terrible. It was essentially cooked quinoa formed into a patty. Very bland. Luckily the chips were tasty! But wish we’d opted for one of the other mains. Good to see a separate veggie/vegan menu. We arrived around 6pm on a Wednesday night and got the last pub table; the restaurant was fully booked for the night and soon there was a 1 hour waiting list for pub tables. Best to head down early or make a booking, as a lot of people got turned away."

"Had only a full breakfast in Brewers fayre and it was delicious, good value, excellent service The two young ladies were torn by their feet, but nothing was too much trouble very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend it."
