"One of Gaucin's lovely restaurants. Recommended by the Michelin guide. Every week the menu changes with Spanish dishes with international winks and a good selection of Spanish wines. A menu made with great care by the foreign couple who run it. The product of good quality. The lamb that I took was sensational. The very curious and rich fig dessert. Average price per person €40. To finish, they offer you a homemade shot from a selection that is difficult to decide on: anis with cherries, with coffee and dulce de lechas or a liqueur with almonds. "We happened upon this place and stayed for a fabulous breakfast. Efficient and friendly staff, and it's tucked away with plenty of shade. It's easy to relax for a few hours without being chased to leave. We had Gambas pil pil on our second visit, which was so good we had to go back a third time for more.!"

"After an ascent of the Los Reales peak and a long drive through the Sierra Bermeja Natural Park we paused in Gaucin for a late lunch. The restaurant is only a few metres from the curious junction towards Manilva and we had to drive by and return to find a parking spot. The outdoor tables opposite the restaurant command a fantastic view over the valley below and the waiters negotiate the humped crossing to serve food. We chose a variety of tapas and each one had its own distinctive taste. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone passing that way."
