"I read on her noteboard that the chef was in the final of the clubs, so we decided to give it to the afternoon. the middle eastern spear three schriveled up, a side burned black and cold piece lamb...on a spit that I will give them their fault, the chips were really good, but the salat ordinary and overloaded with dressing. if I had been there with my man, I would have sent back the meal, but when I was with a friend, I did not want to make a dirty one. the club has a great view of the owal and it is nice to see. Interestingly, there were a lot of people who were so hopeful that they were happy, but I was sure not and will not be back."

"Came here with my partner and the staff were busy talking to a couple infront of us for about 10 minutes before they decide to acknowledge us to order. Waited 20 mins for a yiros we were the only ones there and once we finished weren't even smiled at or said goodbye or looked at lol. So rude attitude was awful"

"Perfect seat by the beach, greeted by the most friendly waitress who gave us impeccable service throughout the night. We had the seafood platter for two which could have fed three with such a generous serve (the only reason some was left on the plate) and was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The flavours were amazing. Accompanied by a Greek Sparkling (something different). Ended the night with a delicious array of desserts and the perfect cup of espresso. Couldn't fault anything. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Will definitely return :)"

"Saturday night dinner downstairs for six. It was good as it was fairly quiet so were able to hear our conversations. Staff were very attentitive and jovial and joined in our banter. After we placed our order, drinks and house bread & oil and their spiced pepitas were quickly presented on our table, a very nice surprise. Our meals were delicious and filling especially the slow cooked lamb shoulder which came with a bowl of jammy black rice. We ordered potatoes, greens and pumpkin as extra sides, and they were devoured. Definitely worth going to."

"We had dinner at this restaurant many times and never regret each time we went there. There were one occasion when we brought along a very close Indian family from my home country who has also given good comments about the food quality. The restaurant was always not crowded and give you a very misleading impression that the food may not be good."

"We really like this place! my man and I were here a few times and we always ordered the banquet for two. the food is served hot and is delicious and authentic. the employees are very well organized and willing to help them with everything they need. I think we have paid each time we have visited, around us, which is not good for a special dinner if they want a quick meal, which we often do. Maybe it would be much cheaper if they ordered a few dishes and shared. if they know a lot of people in the opposite and want a private sphere, I would probably go somewhere else. the tables are very close together, which is good because there is a nice warm, cozy feeling, but bad if they want an intimate meal together. I would definitely recommend the kathmandu palast!"
