"After visiting multiple times in the past we were very disappointed to visit during 'Eat out to help out '. They were obviously overbooking and didn 't even care for our reservation name when we turned up. Had to wait 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated and then after being placed outside with a darkening sky we still weren 't served for another 40 minutes (not even for drinks . After finally being served I asked to be moved inside as I couldn 't see my partner let alone any food that may turn up. Then waited a further 50 minutes for starter to turn up (10pm by then and this is after we were asked if we 'd actually ordered! . The food was great as per previous visits but the service and overbooking of the restaurant was atrocious. Won 't be going back for a while after this experience."

"I visited my son at 2 o'clock. Unfortunately, the service was bad and we had to get up and find a server three times for different elements and needs. once sat no personal came back for a past. when the food was served, there was no retrospect and the potatoes in the roast were cold. eating was nice, but pampered by the lack of carefree sad. beautiful village, but will not rush again at any time. I should have talked to someone, but there were no employees who should find it!"

"We rarely do reviews on Takeaways but we really should. Our locally resident Club Deputy Chairman and family thoroughly enjoyed their meals from this sister business to their main restaurant in Liss. On what was their busiest takeaway Friday of the year, the order was taken quickly and efficiently over the phone just after opening time. The selection was made from a very impressive range of different dishes on the menu, and delivered to the door hot and steaming within the hour. The quality of the food was outstanding and great value for money. They have certainly upped their game significantly since lockdown when it had suffered from a few issues which had let it down. Highly recommended if you happen to be in this part of the East Hants area. Fantastic! IC"

"After a bad experience, the manager came to my house to apologise. At this point I have to say probably the best costumer service I have ever received. I was between surprised and delighted. Maybe the food was not right, but it s amazing to see how people are so devoted to their job and hobby (if I may add as i am a kitchen manager myself and I do love my job so much I even consider it a hobby) they go above and beyond to fix things. People still surprise you with their good acts. He offered me to try their food again on the house. And so I did. The food came in time, ther driver apologised again for the lateness of the last time. The food was hot and tasty. Very well taken care off (packaging,presentation) what is sometimes difficult with take aways. My kid who rarely eats anything new tryed and liked absolutely everything. As for us we ate everything. No left overs. Everything was nice,specially the murgh raani (we had to fight for the last bits). Thank you very much for your amazing costumer service and your food. Sadly we will be moving in September but I look forward to order again with you guys anytime soon before leaving Alton."

"Popped in for a pint and bite to eat before checking into nearby hotel and even though they were extremely busy and fully booked were more than happy to accommodate us very friendly, helpful and tasty food, we will be back if go back to hotel"
