"Visited this as a party of 4, prompt service. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced for the quantity and standard of the food. 2 of us had the tandori sizzler loads of very tasty meat. Would thoroughly recommend"

"Lovely historic pub with attentive and very polite lady serving. Only went in for coffee. The Latte was great but sadly my espresso was not as kicking as I would have liked. Of course, that 's personal, and maybe a one off...but I would return! They also seem to have a fantastic selection of wines by the glass (see photo) Must try next time!"

"Terrible management The manager should NOT be behind the bar during the busiest periods. He should not be a manager at all if he prefers to hide away when the staff need his support??? Absolutely shocking behaviour and there no excuse for it. Drinks arrived at our table when the food was delivered….. Staff running around like headless chickens. Nothing is organised but that’s down to the lazy manager. Sort it out"

"We have been to the New Inn twice since it re-opened. I wasn't happy with the first visit but we wanted to give it another chance. On this occasion a member of the staff was so theatrical at asking what we wanted then when the food came it was even more theatrical. The main course of lamb was okay, but it costed £24.95 each. My sweet, Creme Brulee was like a small moose, £7.95. What really shocked us was the double gin tonic, considering that we were in a pub, £14.85 was absolutely extortionate!! The bill was over £100. Even though the New Inn is only up the road, we will not be going back."
