"Jiangnan Kitchen spans two floors so there's plenty of space for groups of all sizes. The shallot pancakes are a must-order. This flaky pastry wasn't greasy and is best eaten when still warm. I also liked the spiced lamb (but some of my friends didn't like it due to the strong lamb taste), the spicy chicken which came in a thin broth with a thick layer of red chili oil and the stir fried pork with bamboo. I'd skip the oily griddle cabbage and the pork and corn soup. The latter wasn't bad, just very average with no seasoning. There was a lack of staff on the second floor where we were seated but service was alright when it did show up."

"We visited this restaurant around the opening time so luckily we didn't have any wait time, for any other time of the day, beware of long queues to get a table. When it comes to food, this place offers a nice variety of traditional Malaysian cuisine, the prices are reasonable even though the portion sizes are a bit smaller than expected. But overall I had a pleasant experience and do recommend a visit to this restaurant if you're in town Service: Dine in"

"I can manage a quick drink here once in a blue moon despite it is a bit grimey . Usually we sit by the large window along Goulburn street that is good for people watching. Nothing as sophisticated as pubs in Surry Hills, just a standard Irish pub serving standard Australian beers and basic wine list. Not that there is anything wrong with it. Frequented by backpackers from near hostels, it apparently turns into rave night with disco balls and dance floor on Saturday nights.

"Not too bad. This place is fairly busy and for good reason, it's cheap. The food is fresh, tasty and the dumplings were hand made for me. Not as good as Melbourne but still pretty decent."
