"I stayed here for a time of 12 days and although I did not get the opportunity to check their lunch and dinner menus, my breakfast here was lush and tasty and the everyday was an adventure. thanks to the very courteous staff here, who would always receive my order on a fast way, I enjoyed my breakfast and reached office also on time! my favorites were the tiny maurs who had parfaits, yogurts and cute fruit for a simple and beautiful breakfast. they also have elaborate hot breakfasts that are truly heavenly. almost the majority of the days I had arnold nnett a miraculous deep plate of iron, squid and generous puppies of cheese. yummmm. also the tipper and the avocado on toast are very beautiful. if they are particularly ravenous, I suggest the arnold bennett because he will fill them. the tipper could leave them with a fish taste for a long time (it is fish finally, so that is expected! a nice place and so a warm ambiente. I could stay here forever!"

"My first experience of Anthony Worrall Thompsons place just down the road from Henley on Thames. Great food, not ridiculously pricey and lovely ambience.The evening I went, Wednesday they had a girl playing the acoustic who had a phenonmenal voice and really added to the atmosphere. I would definitely go back and no hesitation in recommending."

"Lovely pub and excellent food. I would have given 5 stars of it weren't for the fact that they charge more on s Sunday. The 2 course set menu is £32 on Sundays. I had one course and was charged £24.50 for the fish and chips, which on their main menu (not Sunday) is priced at £18.50. Left a slight aftertaste on what would otherwise have been a perfect meal. Worth mentioning that we were served by a lovely gentleman who lip-reads. His attentiveness was faultless. So, as I said, just a shame that my group of 8 felt sloglty cheated for being surcharged on a Sunday. I personally have not seen a pub do that before. Service: 5 Location: 5"
