"Hotel Rosenburg with restaurant Abendrot is located just outside the heart of the town in Schleswiger Chaussee. Because of the reviews here in the portal we choose this house for a dinner. In the late afternoon we reserve a small table for 3 people. We'll be welcomed at 6:00. The small restaurant area surrounds visitors in beautiful green shades. The tables are covered with white tablecloths and white napkins. Each place is decorated with a lilalen place deck, water and wine glass, cutlery for appetizer and main course. At the front table edge is a combined pepper salt shaker, on all tables the candles are already lit. We are the first guests this early evening. The beautiful map bound in leather is handed over to us. In it you will find common offers of fish and meat. Four dishes are special for children. Due to the current “Lammtage” a card with various lamb dishes is inserted. We are asked about our drinks, which we call the weather. After a pleasant waiting period, we will be asked for our food requests and decide for: pink roasted lamb steaks, estragons sauce, leaf spinach, parmesh salad “Steakteller Rosenburg”: small beef fillet, pork medallions, red wine shallot sauce, roasted potatoes and salad plate spaghetti with tomato sauce as a children's dish. The children's dish tastes completely, so the portion is suitable for a hungry preschool child. That's all. Normal restaurant spaghetti, normal sauce. Like at home. You're missing something. 3* Two lamb steaks, as desired almost fried, hardly pink. A steak good, the other very good, so very delicate. Tastefully with a beautiful garlic rosemary touch a matching and tasteful sauce. Convincing the leaf spinach with some almond pencils, the Parmesankartoffel decreately baked with Parmesan. Overall good 4*. The Steakteller Rosenburg, here the usual chicken breast fillet is dispensed with. Delicious steaks with the red wine shallot sauce a very overcrowding creation that tickles the palate. Especially tasty the 4 small points “the decoration”: here we taste honey and balsamico. Is it true?? Our youngster gets some chicken nuggets with ketchup. The nuggets really delicious, the profane ketchup tastes the kids, but you don't have to serve in this restaurant category – there are alternatives. Our food is made by a high percentage fruiter of taste directions Marille or Hazelnut from Lantenhammer. Both variants convince. Our youngster must dispense with a degisive age-appropriate. Perhaps it is too much to hope at this point for a niceness from the house, but would have given an impression afterwards. Otherwise, we cannot complain about service and service in any way. Our youngster will be asked if he wants something to paint, which is being hunted. With the drinks, reasonably pointed pens are handed with a paint base. We like the service by its uncomplicated way and the attention we offer. Nothing is exaggerated. 5* I forgive only for “overstanding” – here are good 4* for me. In the beginning I mentioned the “cleaned” restaurant area. Without Schicki Micki. In addition, the 4 hotel stars also strike very positively in the sanitary area. There we are held in a small bowl, e.g. refreshment towels. All pickobello – also cutlery and dishes. Only two defective halogen radiators fall on us. Nevertheless very convincing. 5* A word at prices: 10. € for an inferior pizza in the bottle of Husum or rather 20. for decent lamb steaks or a steak plate at Hotel Rosenburg something outside the city? €0.25 Selters are priced here at 1.90€, 0.4l Alster cost 3.60€, the Silvaner beats at 5,20€ to beech. It's very human. I drink fruits from Lantenhammer for the first time. After enjoyment, €5.90 will be due. I don't think that's too much! Conclusion: We decided today, despite the super weather. And everyone who, like us, decides for this House will certainly not be disappointed. From our side there is a very clear recommendation, almost a “must be done when you are in Husum”."

"Hatten schon vorab ein Tisch hier gebucht, da wir nach unserer Anreise nicht noch lange suchen wollten.Wir hatten aber nicht mit dem gerechnet, was uns hier erwartete.Wir wurden vom freundlichen Personal an unser Tisch begleitet und nach einer kurzen Erfrischung ging es mit den lukullischen Genüssen los.Das Essen war von tadelloser Qualität, sehr hübsch angerichtet und ausreichend dimensioniert.Der Service war freundlich, kompetent und auch bei extrawünschen sehr flexibel.Ein solch gutes Hotelrestaurant zu finden, ist schon sehr schwer - ein großes Lob an die Küchenbrigade!Das das Restaurant sehr beliebt ist, bemerkten wir an der Anzahl der noch eintreffenden Gäste, nicht ein Platz blieb unbesetzt.Wenn es Grund zur Kritik gäbe, dann die relativ überschaubare Weinkarte, diese ist sicherlich noch ausbaufähig, um dem Essen letztendlich ganz gerecht zu werden; gefunden haben wir trotzdem etwas passendes.Zum Schluss bleibt noch die erstaunlich großzügige Preisgestaltung und die Idee, das Hausgäste 10 Prozent Nachlass auf Essen und Getränke bekommen; dies ist eine sehr progressive und nachahmenswerte Alternative zur weitverbreiteten Halbpension.Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können uns einen Aufenthalt im Hotel, als auch im Restaurant sehr gut vorstellen."

"My wife and I have visited Dragseth's Gasthof countless times in the past and have always been very satisfied with both the food and the service. Last time we visited we were not very happy with neither. We noticed that both the kitchen crew and the waitress were new. The food is now rather average but what really upset us was to see the whole crew walk through the restaurant to smoke cigarettes outside several times during the evening while guests were still waiting. We went back about a month later to give it another chance but when the crew went outside to smoke even before we had ordered the meal we left. This is really a shame as this used to be such a nice place. We will continue to check out the restaurant when we are in Husum but they really need to get back to the old standards."
