"The best Jamaican Patties ever! The crust was flaky and the meat is like pulled beef. I appreciate that it wasn't ground beef. The highlight of our food eating experience in Kona. The only downside is that the truck closes early but I'm so glad Andre chose to sell the patties to us as he was closing up shop!"

"If ambiance and beach front dining at sunset is just as important to you as the food (or more important) you will love this place. We came three times during our stay, the servers were friendly and warm. We didn’t feel at all rushed, we always had a great seat without having to wait. The first time there, we requested a drink served in a pineapple and they obliged, which was a fun twist. Drinks and food were about twice as much as we paid at other restaurants in Kona-Kailua, but the location is and comfort was worth it to us. We really enjoyed the live soothing Hawaiian music, such a nice touch!"

"They are really warm and friendly. The portions could be a bit larger. The main courses seem to be a bit small. Mac and cheese is OUTSTANDING! On the rack of lamb, four asparagus would be better than three. More polenta does not cost much, but would be filling. Lamb itself is adequate. I prefer better quality paper napkins. Skip the creme brulee till they sweeten the recipe. Remember to bring your own wine. We will return without a doubt."
