"Having driven past one place and then finding nothing but more formal restaurants in the next two villages we were starting to despair of finding a good but informal place to stop for lunch on our way down the route des vins from Obernai to...Colmar. We couldn't have happened upon a better place the sun came out so we could sit outside and enjoy a couple of glasses of chilled Gewurtztrauminer (so good we went to buy some afterwards at the cave up the road Followed by the most delicious tarte flambees the forestiere and the vegetarian ones were both a real treat, thin and crispy with just enough toppings but not overloaded. Warm, friendly and efficient service. Would definitely recommend and will eat there again if we go back to that part of France."
