"The food was exceptional, the owner was very friendly and invited us from outside, advise us about the ingredients in the dressed and even tailored elements there and then for us. the food burst with taste and the ambiente was brilliant. I would recommend this place to everyone for good kitchen."

"My aim for all Indian restaurants in the kennington area, this time I ended up in caffe ishaq. the place had surprisingly many occupants after 10 o'clock. there are not many vegetarian options. eating was good, but not amazing and not expensive."

"I have had curries in so many places over the world and Rufies is the best. Not pretentious, just a great tasting curry. This is fresh food and you can taste the difference. Lovely people too, what more could you want?"

"My first visit since the beginning of lockdown. Delivery just doesn't feel the same, I missed the banter while waiting for a freshly made takeaway. Since my last trip here the shop's had a nice spruce up but the food is still as good and playing dodge the deliveroo Darth Vaders was entertaining while watching my kebab being wrangled. I've used the Kebab Hut for almost 15 years since moving to the area and treat it as a guilty pleasure, I've never had an under par meal in that time."

"Went for lunch on sunday , this is the same people that have the peckham Bazzar. Simplistic mordarn design , relaxed, friendly, knowledgeable service . Food is fresh from local markets that morning and very well prepared and presented. Great consice wine list that's very well priced. Great neighbourhood restaurant!"

"Great dried meat and very reasonably priced We got a little carried away at this small cured meat stand. They have A LOT of unique combinations, and the livestock is all local from around the UK. The ones that stood out for me were: Truffle and Mushroom Rosemary and Garlic Fennel But we also had some creative ones if you're feeling brave (including mutton, lamb, and blood orange with chocolate). We bought a few dried sausages for later. Very reasonable pricing."
