"I ate here with my daughter, aged 11. We had a small table for two outside in the corner on the terrace but under a cover (i.e. close to the building), which seemed to be a bit of a "slow zone" in terms of service - luckily we were not in a hurry. We both had 3 courses - my daughter loved all her dishes, a velvety vegetable soup served with Tomme cheese (she doesn't normally like this kind of chess), the coqueclet (small, whole chicken) and the chocolate fondant with home made vanilla ice-cream. My main course was the highlight for me - a slow cooked lamb shank which was indeed "melt in the mouth" as claimed on the menu. It was presented in a cast iron pot with lovely freshly cooked vegetables. My only reservation is that the sauce/gravy was far too salty which unfortunately (for me anyway) drowned out most of the flavours. The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed, and the staff are generally polite and friendly. My only other reservation is that when people smoke outside on the terrance (as some people did on the table next to us) under the covered area where we were, the smoke does linger and can be extremely unpleasant. I would recommend to future patrons with sensitive noses who wish to enjoy their food, that if you're going to sit outside be sure to choose a table some away from the covered area where the smoke will disperse better, i.e. more towards the pedestrian street area (obviously if this is raining, this is not an option)."

"Rude welcome... We booked a table and the one we were offered was the worse of all the terrace.Obviously, they have their usual clients, and if you are not on the "nice" list, you are done.Food is average, no more, unlike the bill, kind of expensive.This place does not worth the walk to get there.Megeve is now an expensive place, but you can find better restaurants in that price range."

"We started with a drink on the terrace with a beautiful view that is rarely seen, total escapism. the dinner was amazing and each plate was more interesting and beautiful than the next. our four-headed party came happy and wished we would go back the next night. the lady who supervised the dining room, we understood as a woman of herrn renaut, was simply charming and made us feel at home from the beginning. oh, and a weeping list that fits everywhere!"

"Nous avons été accueuilli par le chef, trés sympatique, avant de découvrir la salle spacieuse et confortable. Le service a été parfait, la serveuse très souriante et efficace et les plats généreux avec des produits bien préparés ( entrecôte délicieuse).En dessert fondez pour le fondant chocolat aux épices maison !Vraiment ravis de notre dîner, nous vous conseillons vivement d'y aller."
