"This is a fine pub restaurant tucked away in Mill Brow. We had the sampler menu. Three courses at a very reasonable £20. There was a slightly limited choice of 3 dishes with only one vegetarian option but the quality of the dishes was impressive. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Went for Sunday lunch. The venue was slightly 80’s with only around 4 tables booked whilst we were dining. We really didn’t mind as the staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was what we made it. The restaurant is within the golf club function room. The food was excellent. For mains my wife had roast beef which was perfectly cooked. I had the chicken with dauphinois potatoes. Again it wasn’t dry but succulent and complimented well with the cream sauce. My children had pasta from the children’s menu with generous portions. The price of the meal for what we got was outstanding. Midweek they do a set menu of two or three courses for less than £15. Will I go back? Absolutely. Probably one of the best kept secrets in the hospitality trade. Unfortunately for us I can’t see it lasting as the word will get round."
