"This has been my go to destination for bunny chow’s in the Johannesburg area for the last few years. There are many Indian restaurants serving bunnies in Johannesburg and especially Midrand though Purple Lounge have managed to consistently deliver quality curry always leaving you satisfied. The portions are generous and you are even given extra gravy. This owner run restaurant/take-away is a little gem and I would highly recommend it, especially for those a little home sick and missing Durban curry!"

"We had a function at work on Monday. We required 30 chicken breyani, 10 veg breyani, dhal and salad plus soji to feed 40 people by eleven am on Monday Morning. The food was ready despite electricity problems. There were only about 30 people at the function, but there were almost no leftovers as everyone went back for seconds. It was DELICIOUS, but most of all I must compliment the service we received. The price was also outstanding Less than ZAR100 a head.<br/>I would just have liked it if they had taken more care deboning or getting deboned chicken (which was served in big hunks). Otherwise it was very very good."

"Titolin’s is one of the only restaurants in the area which I truly enjoy, with a comfortable setup inside and on the balcony, not to mentioned the indoor fire place perfectly suitable for winter time. We have never been disappointed in this trattoria type restaurant. Their meals are simple, well portioned and tasty enough and the price reasonable.<br/ It does not have the WOW factor but it is good enough considering that the Kyalami and Barbeque Downs area has nothing else worth eating at.<br/ The service is always phenomenal, the waiters have great attention to detail and are ultra friendly.<br/ <br/ I would recommend their pizza’s as well as two of their signature dishes: Benelli – pasta with slices of rump in a peppercorn and cognac sauce (take note that the pepper is very peppery well obviously), as well as the Spezattino – grilled rump in a bed of pasta arrabiata. Like rump much?!<br/ My mom has had the lasagne, she thoroughly enjoyed it.<br/ <br/ Simple family style restaurant with friendly staff and reasonable priced tasty meals – I say YES!"

"Me and my boy find ourselves lunching here maybe once a week. They've got great value lunch specials, but also awesome tapas if you want to mix and match. If you a vegetarian, they have delicious options such as the giant black mushroom covered in feta and spinach, the falafels, and other delights. For the seafood and meateaters, their fried squids are awesome, so are the chicken livers. But what deserves a special mention, and has me up at 11:30pm writing this review are their lamb riblets. Whether you having the tapas portion or the full portion...listen, I would not lead you astray. Game changer."

"Nice place in Mall of Africa to grab a quick bite (lunch or dinner). The menu has a variety of options. We settled on the lamb trincardo penne and the rib eye pasta, which were both delicious.<br/ <br/ Service was speedy and very friendly."

"Im very impressed with Mad NoMad at mall of africa ! Was my dad's birthday and my parents anniversary. I had told them only at the door about the celebrations. The food, staff and service were outstanding. They organised plates that said happy birthday and happy anniversary then took a picture and presented it to my parents printed in an envolope. Outstanding place i will be back very soon."
